Just had another party tonight. This time the owner of the nursing home where I work had a Jewelry party at her house. Only four people showed up, but I got 176.00 in sales. She is going to have another one closer to Christmas. The owner of one of the pubs in going to let us use a room in his pub for displaying our jewelry that is set for next Thursday. Tomorrow we will be busy getting the posters in local store windows and putting them up in pubs, things like that to get the word out. One of the patients at the nursing home , her niece owns a pub in a village near here and I have invited her and hopefully she will have a party in her pub. The business is growing from where we started from. We are able to order more larger supplies to sell on the night. We started off by just having a few samples and customers would have to order out of a catalog and would get their stuff in about a week.
Things have been going pretty good for me. I haven't posted here in awhile. Just haven't felt like typing and really haven't had a lot to say. Noticed I used haven't three times......Now that last line should tell you I don't have a lot to say. LOL
Peter's Mom and sister came for a visit about three weeks ago. Very nice. I cooked them my famous steaks and spare ribs. Which they enjoyed very well. We also went out to the pub on Saturday night of course I drank too many. I don't drink very much and when I do it all goes to my head. Any way we have made arrangements for all of to go to England to visit another one of Peter's sisters. Well we did say we all wanted to go. So I guess that's a start. Waiting to hear back from his sister for all the arrangements. LOL
I am working night shift for Saturday and Sunday this week. Going to try while I am out tomorrow to get a shaver for the dog so I can start trimming her myself...That's going be be a trip. I have found this site on the Internet that gives you step by step instructions on how to trim a west highland terrier. Wish me luck...But I do have months for her hair to grow out before I put her into another dog show.

I'm so happy that u are getting more sales with your new business...wish I could pop on by and encourage u myself ...since I got my hair cut shorter, I have had to buy some earings as my ears show now lol...haven't worn earings in yrs since my hair always hid them, I never bothered much lol. I am enjoying jewelry more now because of it. Good luck with the pub showing...let us know how it went!
