Molly

This is this best pic of her and her ribbons. She got 2nd, 3rd and 4th places.

The Bansha Show and Festival 2007

I think I have mentioned in previous posts that I was entering my Dog Molly in the local dog show well the pics are in and she won three ribbons out of the four classes I put her in, she didn't get 1st in any of them, but I am happy she got any ribbon....This being her first show and all, I believe she would have done better if I had handled her better, but it was my first time also. So all in all I was very pleased with the results. Now have to find a groomer I can learn from and get practicing on cutting a west highland hair for shows. I plan on getting trimming table with a noose to hold her because she is all over the when I even come at her with a pair of scissors. Just imagine when I come at her with the electric shears. Know wonder people have bolts of lightening shaved in their head, it was a slip of the shears and to cover it up it became a fashion statement. LOL

I also am sharing some pics of the Bansha concert we went to last Sunday. Aslan was the Irish group that performed. Peter took the pics we decided to bring the dog for her to get use to being around crowds so I was holding her or leading her while Peter was taking the pics.... I did get to shake the lead singers hand after the show. They are pretty big band here in Ireland, I don't know if anyone has heard of Crazy World but that is one of their top songs.

I start back to my day shift this coming Monday so maybe things can get back to normal for awhile. We are ready to begin to move forward with selling our Jewelry and handbags....So beginning in Septemer hopefully I will be busy selling and having parties.

Another year older

This past Saturday was my 54th birthday. I would like to thank everyone again for sending me e-mails and calling me to wish me a happy birthday.... I can't believe the years are pasting by so quickly. I can remember when I was younger that I couldn't wait until I turned 21, now 33 years later I am saying what the hell happen????? LOL Looking back I have become a nurse, had three children, two divorces, and have moved to Ireland. WOW That would be the short story, sometimes when I feel typing a lot I will expand more.

This week I got everything straighten out as for as my work permit and residency for another year. The good thing is I don't have to have a work permit anymore because I have a stamp 4 immigration stamp on my passport . I can file for my citizenship next month(which will take 15 months to process) I will be glad when all this is over so I don't have to go through this every year.

My business is going kind of slow this time of year with everyone going on vacation and all. Still trying to get it together as for as a place to show the jewelry so when I can't get a party booked at least I will have that every week to do..... So we have to wait until after the Bansha festival before we can move forward with that because we are planning on having the room in a pub in Bansha.

I have enter my dog in the Bansha show this year. The show is kind of like a county fair in the USA, only its for a day. People bring their crafts, live stock and such to be judged. So they have a Dog show along with all the other events...I have entered her in 4 events so hopefully she will do something. If not, I will forget the shows and just breed her because she is a nice friendly dog and has come from good stock.....

Still working night shifts this month so this has upset my bio rhythm, even on my nights off I don't feel like sleeping at normal times so I usually stay up until 3 or 4 in the morning. Hopefully it will be for this month only..... I don't think I could keep this up for too long, then again I don't like day shift either. LOL Now that I don't need a work permit in order to remain in the country it would be nice if the jewelry business took off really well so I could spend full time on that unstead of having to work as a nurse also, but for now it pays the bills.

Back From Dublin

Had a fantastic time. We didn't begin travelling until the day of the party and it seemed like the minute we got into the car it started raining and rained all the time we were in the car..... Once we arrived it stopped raining and had one shower while we was there..... Anyway everyone enjoyed the party. There was alot of Peter relatives that we haven't seen since his brother Richard's wedding. His sister Marion being one of them. We have made plans of going over to England sometime over the New Year Holidays. She moved to England about 5 years ago. We have beeen saying that we are coming over for a visit one of these days and have never got around to doing it, so this coming December we will be off to England.

The party had around 100 people there or it seemed like that at the end of the night, after we left the pub we went back to Patsy's house and partied until 6:30 in the morning. Getting too old for this..... Then the next night was Peter's mom regular night at the pub so we went out drinking again. On the way home Monday was the prettiest weather we have had in sometime. This week has had off and on sunshine, which is better than rain all the time.

I go back to night shift next week again, one of the nurses took off to America to visit her daughter and we don't really know how long she will be gone. She was very secretive about it all but she is that kind of person anyway, for some reason. Oh well , I am having problems getting my work permit this year, seems like they changed forms and didn't tell my boss until she sent in the old form, so they have sent the form back twice because it needed something else filled out or more information. Its like they read down the page until they get to something they need send the form back then when they get it back finish reading the rest of the form until they get to another place that needs filled out......This has been going on since May. It like give me a break its not like this is my first time getting a work permit, I have been renewing for 5 years. Since I can file for my citizenship I guess they want to hassle me..... LOL

I have posted some pics of the party..... Enjoy The bottom pic is of Peter's sister Marion and her boyfriend they are the ones we are going to visit in England , the first pic is of Aunt Pasty(can you believe she is 70???)
