There is a Monster in our hallway

Today we went out and bought a lawn mower. Earlier last year we had some of our back yard leveled and grass send sown. Needless to say now we have to mow the grass. So therefore we went shopping for a lawn mower. The poor check out girl, first of all we did our homework before going out into the jungle of shopping in Limerick on Sunday. So we picked out the lawn mower that we thought suited our needs took it up to the check out counter, before we had read a sign that said get your starter kit(which was oil gas can and something else I can't remember) so Peter thought that might be a good idea to check that out. So the check out girl rung up the lawn mower and Peter ask about the start up kit she didn't know anything about that told him to go to the sales counter, well she had already rung up the lawn mower and I was going to pay for it all by credit card,so we were holding up the line as well. While waiting I noticed she had rung up 424.00 instead of 384.00, so I told her the sign had said 384.00 so she might want to look that up while we was waiting. Well she was foreign and don;t think she understood much English. So she just stood they, then I can see Peter motioning me to come there where he was, well we ended up picking up another box and check out counter girl was right. They had the model in the box but not on the floor so without reading what was on the box we just thought it was the one on the floor. After all that was straighten out we left(oh by the way we didn't get the start up kit for 50.00 .} and we didn't go back through the same check out counter. We brought it home, and its huge. It should have some kind of seat on it so you can sit down. LOL There it just sits in our hallway like some looming monster.

I have two handbags parties next week one on Friday and the other the following Tuesday. I talked to this lady that Peter had did a job for today while we was in Limerick he had to return a key to her house that he had while doing work there anyway I bought some samples along and she like the products and the price so she said the last part of June would be good for her. I have other people that haven't committed as of yet...

Haven't posted in awhile

Just noticed I haven't posted for awhile, so thought I better say something. I went to the Doctor on Monday to check on my Thyroid Blood test, while I was doing that I had him check ou the lump on my foot. Cyst on a ligament. Put me on anti inflammatory (which is making me sleep) So getting more sleep now. Thyroid was doing find so I continue to take my Eltroxin 100mcg daily Still have the appointment in Dublin with the neurosurgeon about my acoustic neuroma. That's all of my health problems out of the way.

We have ordered more jewelry from different sites and they came in this week. I am very satisfied with all of the jewelry so far and still can under price the stores here in town. I have another party for this coming Friday. It will be interesting ,because I am still working night shift and have to work Thursday night... I am hoping I can come home and get some sleep then get ready for the party which is at 8pm. Handbags we seem to have a problem with them the way we are selling them. They go out of stock quickly and if a person orders one form the catalog we have made up doesn't necessarily mean the company we order from will have them when we turn in the order. So we are still in the thinking stage of what to do about that. At this party I am going to just take the handbags that I have in stock and try to sell them. More people are ordering the Jewelry anyway.

My aunt seems to be doing better. I really need to call my mom because she is there taking care of her. To see how my mom is doing, she is not getting any younger and I hope she is not wearing herself out. There is alot of things I should be doing but just haven't done it. LOL

Last weekend one of Peter's daughter came to visit, one of her friends father was having a birthday party at the pub called the foot. Anyway she brought her boyfriend this time. He is a very nice fellow, very friendly. We ended up going out with them, we left after the eats to go to another pub in the village. I ended up drinking too much, I forgot how many pints I had, but fell asleep on the couch no sooner than we got home. Peter had to take me to bed.... Other than that nothing much has been going on in my life.

Late one night .no it early one morning

I realized I haven't posted her for awhile. I am trying to stay up late since I have to work tomorrow night, so am preparing myself.... I have another handbag party booked a week from this Friday. We also ordered more sample jewelry Monday, so we should be getting that this week. Can't wait usually the jewelry looks better than in the catalog we have printed off.

My mom is staying with her sister to help her out while she is recouping from pneumonia,I called her there on Mother's Day. My aunt picked up the phone and I didn't talk to her long because she sounded so hoarse that I thought keeping her talking would harm her voice more. Mom seemed to be enjoying the visit so far, I will have to send a card this week for sure.

One of Peter's daughter came for a visit this past weekend, she just recently begin to drive and drove solo from Dublin( which is about a 2-3 hr drive to here) she is very brave I can;t even drive to Clomnel(which is about 25 minutes away by myself) I told her I am hoping her bravery will encourage me. We rented movies and pretty much just hung around the house. She and her boyfriend will be here this coming weekend. They have some birthday party they are going to attend and staying with us.

Everything is fine with the dog and birds(well one baby bird died this week) but we still have a lot left...I forgot how many we have now, they are on their second breeding. I think that is all the breeding they do for one year then their feathers starts falling out....

I have found a lump on the bottom of my foot of all places. found it about a week ago then forgot about it, well tonight I was cutting my toenails and found it again, seems to be getting bigger, thought it was a swollen muscle at first now I am beginning to wonder what the heck it is. I had my blood drawn last week for my thyroid so when the results gets back will have the Doc check this out..... I have been out weed eating in the back yard and boy is my arm sore so I am not going to type too much more here. Will keep everybody posted on how all my lumps and bumps turn out.

Wasn't good news

Well I got the letter from about my Irish citizenship application. According to them I haven't been in the country long enough. I have 8 more months to go. One year I didn't get a registration card from the Garda here, so didn't find out I needed one until I took a trip to USA and when coming back over to Ireland I didn't have the card I was suppose to have even though I had been visiting the local immigration office every year since I have been here. He might have mentioned I needed to get one, but With me not understanding the language when I first arrived maybe got lost in the translation... Anyway I can apply all over again in August, so not too bad but having to copy all my life all over again doesn't sound very appealing. LOL I have to work night shift again tonight. I think that's my regular shift for awhile now.

I planted all the flowers I bought last week. Peter brought home some more flower containers from where he is working(they were going to throw them out and being the pack rat that he is he brought them home) Well for once I am glad he is a pack rat. LOL

My brother called to let me know that my aunt(which is my mom's sister) is in the hospital and not expected to live. Since then she has been walking and is coming home this week, so my mom is going to travel to her house and take care of her for awhile. My aunt is 88 and has survive a stroke and car accident she some strong woman....I will have to remember to send her a card this week. Well have 10 more minutes before getting ready for work and have to finish eating this pizza I fixed and have been munching on while typing this.....

Here I am again

I have survived the week once again. Not there was a chance that I wouldn't, but you never know. I feel a little better since I wrote my last post not as morbid at least. Today I went flower shopping again. I am going crazy for the flowers this year just planting them all over the place. I love a touch of color everywhere, now I just have to find a place to plant them all. Tomorrow if the rain holds out I will find a places to plant, so today just satisfied to get them watered......

My hand bag business is still going, I have only had the two parties now I am in the process of delivering the products and collecting my money. Which seems alot harder than first thought. going to have to rethink things out a bit better..... I have sated working night shifts now which as changed things some what but I can work around that as long as I can regulate my sleep better. Seems like I can't get enough sleep at the moment, hopefully it won't be that way all the time. Instead of playing computer games I think I am going to read. I have a bunch of books that I have bought about 6 months ago and wasn't in the reading mood so kind of getting back to that now. Monday is a bank Holiday and everything is closed so I guess I will have Tuesday before I can go to the bank and post office.. I have this registered mail that I have to pick up(hoping is good news from my Irish citizenship application) That would be wonderful... So keeping my fingers crossed....

Peter is still doing fine matter of fact we went together shopping and that has happen for a long time, usually he is working or I am doing something else, but finally today was the day and we found we enjoyed it. LOL Like the old days....
